How to fight your battles in prayer?
- Set aside time to focus on prayer and meditation.
Psalms 37:6-7, 6 He will make your righteousness shine like the dawn, the justice of your cause like the noonday sun. 7 Be still before the Lord and wait patiently for him do not fret when men succeed in their ways, when they carry out their wicked schemes.
Psalms 38:8-9 NLT, 8 I am exhausted and completely crushed, my groans come from an anguished heart. 9 You know what I long for, Lord you hear my every sigh.
2. Seek God to reveal things to you.
- The father’s primary goal is to have intimate relationship with you.
Psalms 66:16-19, 16 Come and listen, all you who fear God, and I will tell you what he did for me.17 For I cried out to him for help, praising him as I spoke. 18 If I had not confessed the sin in my heart, the Lord would not have listened.19 But God did listen! He paid attention to my prayer.
3. See clearly that people are not your enemy.
1 John 4:20, If someone says I love God but hates a Christian brother or sister that person is a liar; for if we don’t love the people we can see, how can we love God whom we can’t see.
4. Surrender completely to the Holy Spirit.
