1) To save us from SPIRITUAL DEATH.
Ephesians 2:1,As for you, you were dead in your transgressions and sins, Romans 5:12, Therefore, just as sin entered the world through one man, and death through sin, and in this way death came to all people. . .

2) To set us free from SATANIC DOMINION
Ephesians 2:1-2,1As for you, you were dead in your transgressions and sins,2in which you used to live when you followed the ways of this world and of the ruler of the kingdom of the air, the spirit who is now at work in those who are disobedient.
Matthew 5:43-45,43“You have heard that it was said, ‘Love your neighbor and hate you’re nemy.’44But I tell you, love your enemies and pray for those who persecute you,45that you maybe children of your Father in heaven. He causes his sun to rise on the evil and the good, and sends rain on the righteous and the unrighteous.

3) To restore blessing that SIN DAMAGED.
Ephesians 2:3-5,3All of us also lived among them at one time, gratifying the cravings of our flesh and following its desires and thoughts. Like the rest, we were by nature deserving of wrath. 4 But because of his great love for us, God, who is rich in mercy, 5 made us a live with Christ even when we were dead in transgressions—it is by grace you have been saved.
Romans 5:17, For if, by the trespass of the one man, death reigned through that one man, how much more will those who receive God’s abundant provision of grace and of the gift of righteousness reign in life through the one man, Jesus Christ!
