Daniel 10:1 (NKJV), . . . He understood the word and had understanding of the vision.

Daniel 10:10-11 (NLT), 10 Just then a hand touched me and lifted me still trembling, to my hands and knees. 11 And the man said to me “Daniel you are very precious to God, so listen carefully to what I have to say to you. Stand up, for I have been sent to you. When he said this to me, I stood up, still trembling.”

Daniel 10:12-14 (NLT), 12 Then he said, “Don’t be afraid, Daniel.  Since the first day you began to pray for understanding and to humble yourself before your God, your request has been heard in heaven. I have come in answer to your prayer. 13 But for twenty-one days the spirit prince of the kingdom of Persia blocked my way. Then Michael, one of the archangels, came to help me and I left him there with the Spirit Prince of the kingdom of Persia. 14 Now I am here to explain what will happen to your people in the future, for this vision concerns yet another time.”

Daniel 10:20-21, 20 So he said, “Do you know why I have come to you? Soon I will return to fight against the prince of Persia, and when I go, the prince of Greece will come; 21 but first I will tell you what is written in the Book of Truth. No one supports me against them except Michael, your prince.”

  1. Unseen Spiritual Warfare

Jude1:9 (NKJV), Yet Michael the archangel, in contending with the Devil, when he disputed about the body of Moses, dared not bring him a reviling accusation, but said, “The Lord Rebuke You!”

Ephesians 6:12 (NKJV), For we do not wrestle against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this age, against the spiritual hosts of wickedness in the heavenly places.

2. Unconfessed Sin

Isaiah 59:2 (NKJV), But your iniquities have separated you from your God; and your sins have hidden his face from you, so that He will not hear.

Psalm 66:18 (NKJV), If I regard iniquity in my heart, the Lord will not hear.

Psalm 32:5 (NKJV), I acknowledged my sin to you, and my iniquity I have not hidden, I said, “I will confess my transgressions to the Lord,” and you forgave the iniquity of my sin.

Philippians 4:6-7 (ESV), 6 Do not be anxious about anything, but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known to God. 7 And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and minds in Christ Jesus.

Colossians 3:15 (ESV), And let the peace of Christ rule in your hearts, to which indeed you were called in one body. And be thankful.

3. Unforgiving Heart

Mark 11:25 (NKJV), And whenever you stand praying, if you have anything against anyone, forgive him, that your Father in heaven may also forgive you your trespasses.

Matthew 6:15 (NKJV), But if you do not forgive men their trespasses, neither will your father forgive your trespasses.

1 Peter 3:7 (NLT), In the same way, you husbands must give honor to your wives. Treat your wife with understanding as you live together. She may be weaker than you are, but she is your equal partner in God’s gift of new life. Treat her as you should so your prayers will not be hindered.

4. Uncaring Attitudes

Proverbs 21:13 (NKJV), Whoever shuts his ears to the cry of the poor will also cry himself and not be heard.
