Luke 4:18-19 (NLT), The Spirit of the Lord is upon me, for he has anointed me to bring Good news to the poor. He has sent me to proclaim that captives will be released, that the blind will see, that the oppressed will be set free, and that the time of the Lord’s favor has come.
Release of Captive

- Bound – yoked to something that imprisons
Luke 13:12, When Jesus saw her, he called her forward and said to her, “Woman, you are set free from your infirmity.”
Ephesians 4:27, …do not give the devil a foothold.
- Footholds can become strongholds.

2 Corinthians 10:4 (NKJV), says the weapons of our warfare are not carnal “or natural”, but mighty through God for pulling down strongholds.
