A parent’s consistent love and attention anchors a child in life.

Give them a PATTERN.

Our children will learn from us.

1 Corinthians 11:1, Follow my example, as I follow the example of Christ.

Jesus leads us so we can lead them.

Deuteronomy 6:6-7, 6 These commandments that I give you today are to be on your hearts. 7 Impress them on your children. Talk about them when you sit at home and when you walk along the road, when you lie down and when you get up.

We teach our children in the everydayness of life.

Nurture their POTENTIAL.

Help them find who God created them to be.

Ephesians 6:4 (KJV) And, ye fathers, provoke not your children to wrath: but bring them up in the nurture and admonition of the Lord.

Admonition – a mild rebuke or warning

Hebrews 12:6, For the Lord disciplines the one he loves, and he chastens everyone he accepts as his son.

Proverbs 29:15 (NKJV) The rod and rebuke give wisdom, but a child left to himself brings shame to his mother.
