Local Missions

Dream Center

The Faith Family Dream Center offers several ministries that meet relevant needs in our community. The Dream Center’s purpose is to reconnect overlooked people to God and a community of support by providing human services that addresses immediate and long-term needs in the areas of homelessness, hunger relief, and education. The Faith Family Dream Center is an extension of Faith Family Church.

The Faith Family Dream Center’s vision is to change lives every day by working to build both community and families. We want to bring social transformation that not only ministers to people’s needs, but ministers to their potential.

Our mission in serving our community and families is to fight poverty, stop abuse, find jobs, create success, and achieve prosperity.

"I was hungry and you gave me something to eat, I was thirsty
and you gave me something to drink, I was a stranger and you invited me in,
I needed clothes and you clothed me, I was sick and you looked after me,
I was in prison and you came to visit me."
Matthew 25:35-36

Our Life Teams on a Mission work in the ministry areas mentioned above to carry out the mission of Jesus.  If you would like to participate as an individual or partner as a business in any of these efforts connect with us below:

The Faith Family Dream Center ministries include:

Food Pantry

In cooperation with the Golden Crescent Food Bank of Victoria, we are able to provide some food for those in need.  The food pantry is open for pickup Wednesdays 6:30-7pm / 8:30-9pm and Sundays 8:00-8:30am / 10-10:30am / 12:15-12:45pm.  For details or food pickup visit the Connection Center during the times listed above.

Nursing Home Ministry

Each week our nursing home team provides care and companionship to senior residents.  Through visitation, prayers, bible study and simply just "being there" we are able to provide much needed attention and interaction.  Nursing Home Ministry is a unique opportunity to honor, connect and care for people before they pass into eternity.

Prison and Jail Ministry

Each week area inmates are finding freedom through Christ and receiving practical training to live a productive and fruitful life - now and following their release.  Training topics include Bible school curriculum, Celebrate Recovery, financial management, marriage and relationships.  Our teams work to bring strength, hope and encouragement to inmates in area county jails, juvenile detention centers and the Stevenson Unit Prison in Cuero.

Passion Week

Passion Week is all about saturating our area with the love of Christ through compassionate acts of service. From projects helping children and seniors to honoring police, sheriff or military and more; there is a place for everyone to participate!
